Family Field Day & BBQ on Father's Day PDF Print E-mail

Pack 200 wraps up the 2009-2010 year with its annual Family Field Day & BBQ on Father's Day, Sunday, June 20, 3 - 6 PM at the Hinckley Swimpond on Green Street.  The Medfield Park & Rec department has graciously waived the daily use fee for all Pack 200 family members, so bring your suits and towels.

3:00 PM - Registration/Setup

3:30 PM - Wacky Field Games (See below)

4:45 PM - BBQ

5:30 PM - Tug-O-War

5:45 PM - Water Balloon Finale

The pack provides burgers, dogs, fixings, plateware, etc.  Ranks are asked to provide the rest:

  • Webelos - chips or salads
  • Bears - drinks (water, juice, soda)
  • Wolves - desserts
  • Brand new member families - smiles

Please contact your Den Leader to provide a count; also if you have a gas grill or can transport a gas grill, please inform your Den Leader.  We need two or three grills.  Charcoal is not allowed on the grounds.

2010 Memorial Day Parade PDF Print E-mail

Pack 200 will participate in the Medfield's 2010 Memorial Day Parade.

Starting at the Town House, the parade route stops for ceremonies and tributes at Baxter Park, Vine Lake Cemetery, and the American Legion Hall.  The pack provides cool water and sunblock, transported by our hand-drawn Chuck Wagon.

Please plan on an end-time around noon, with food and beverage provided for all parade participants immediately afterward at the American Legion Hall on Peter Kristoff  Way.

Class A uniforms, neat dress (sneakers are fine), and respectful behavior are expected at all points along the parade route.

Please arrive by 9:15 AM at the Town House back parking lot.

Thinking about joining Cub Scouts?

 

Pack 200 meets on the third Thursday of the month from September through May.  Tiger Dens (1st Grade), Wolf Dens (2nd Grade), Bear Dens (3rd Grade), and Webelos (4th & 5th Grades) meet at least twice per  month for their own meetings and activities.  Each rank pursues achievements or activities found in its handbook toward their badges - the Tiger Badge,  the Wolf Badge, the Bear Badge, the Webelos Badge, toward Cub Scouting's highest achievement: the Arrow of Light.

 

Pack 200 emphasizes fun, achievement, and community service for scouts and their families.  Parents and siblings are warmly invited to all Pack events.
